Web Developer/Programmer

Opportunity to join the development team of one of the region's leading web development agencies. Answering to the lead developer, the successful candidate will be involved in building cutting edge web-based applications and developing websites to the highest standards (XHTML/CSS2) for local and international organisations. An excellent knowledge of PHP/MySQL essential and Dot Net an advantage.

• Web standards proficient and able to build strictly validating websites from supplied design templates
• Knowledge of Dom Scripting and AJAX
• Able to work within a team environment and able to make intelligent decisions under own initiative
  
• Eat, drink and sleep web technologies with a keen eye on current and up and coming trends.
• Understanding of SEO techniques a distinct advantage
• Appreciation of accessibility issues
  

To help us further expand our position as one of the premier web and media agencies in the South West, Rokk Media is looking for an experienced Web Developer/Programmer. You will be working across a wide and varied project base from constructing simple static websites to assisting in the development of extensive web applications for organisations such as Hewlett Packard, T-Mobile, and Exeter Airport. Unfaltering time management, and self-motivation are essential. You will be able to demonstrate your skills and knowledge, although commercial experience is not essential if a recent graduate for example.

This position is full time/permanent.
