Search Engine Marketing and Optimisation Executive

An opportunity to join one of the region's leading web development agencies. Working with the development team, the account management team, and on a consultative basis direct to clients. The successful candidate will devise and execute effective online marketing strategies using white-hat SEO and SEM techniques.

Skills required;

• Abilty to analyse a client's web activities in collabration with their general marketing requirements and provide a detailed assessment and recommendations.
• Understand the major technical factors that influence online marketing.
• Able to perform natural white hat SEO activities, including but not limited to, identification and analysis of performance metrics; keyword research and ranking analysis; competitive market audits; writing SEO friendly copy and implementation of SEO best practices.
• Proactively present program recommendations along with benefits to clients in order to timely advance program goals and objectives.
• Support the account management team, including interaction with clients.
• Take an active interest in new SEO innovations such as LSI, social networking sites, blogging etc., and communicate these benefits to clients
• Understanding analytics, how to measure performance and report regularly on SEO progress
• Assess, manage and report on inbound link building strategies
• Help grow the online marketing department and actively develop new avenues for revenue generation.
  

Requirements

• Educated to degree standards, preferably in marketing
  
• First class client facing skills
• Exceptional written and numeracy skills
• Appreciation of the latest web development techniques and how they impact on SEO
• Thorough knowledge of Google Analytics and web analytics in general
• A passion for all things web-related and in paricular developments in SEM such as LSI, social networking, article aggregation etc.,
  
• Minimal 2 years experience with a demonstrable CV/Track record (with references)
• Team orientated

You will be working across a wide and varied client base and industry sectors including international IT, telecommunications, global utilities, national airports, careers events, and healthcare.

Unfaltering time management, and self-motivation are essential. You will be able to demonstrate your skills and knowledge to a highly detailed degree and be able to hit the ground running from day one.

This position is full time/permanent.
